RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Maintenance & Technical Support

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on Centralized Control subsystems across all sites.

Conduct inspections, safety checks, and testing of Centralized Control systems to ensure reliability.

Troubleshoot malfunctions, identify root causes, and carry out necessary repairs or replacements.

Respond promptly to equipment failures and ensure quick resolution to minimize downtime.

Install, adjust, and test system components when required.

Tools, Equipment & Resources

Ensure all maintenance tools, equipment, and devices are in proper working condition.

Monitor and maintain stock levels, initiating supply orders when necessary.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working area at all times.

Compliance & Safety

Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards, ensuring safe working practices.

Report any environmental, safety, or operational issues immediately to the Executive Maintenance team.

Ensure all tasks comply with established maintenance and safety procedures.

Coordination & Reporting

Assist the Centralized Control Supervisor in planning and executing maintenance activities.

Supervise subcontractors, ensuring proper execution of preventive maintenance plans.

Prepare accurate reports and document all maintenance activities carried out.

Provide clear communication and updates to management on system status and task completion.

Undertake any other related duties assigned in support of Centralized Control operations.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Telecom or Electrical certification preferred.

Physically fit to handle time-sensitive and hands-on maintenance tasks.

Knowledge

General technical knowledge across electrical and communication domains.

Awareness of maintenance practices, methods, and processes.

Railway or metro industry knowledge is preferred.

Familiarity with Centralized Control subsystems (Light Current, ATS, SCADA, Networking).

Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and drawings.

Strong troubleshooting skills for control system malfunctions.

Working knowledge of common tools, appliances, and devices.

Ability to use maintenance tools and basic PC applications.

Capable of writing simple technical reports, business correspondence, and drawings as needed.

Experience

3-5 years of experience as a maintenance technician.

Experience in centralized control maintenance within railway or metro environments is a plus.
