Responsibilities:

  • Verify that the content of tapes is correct.

  • Communicate to the Library for making amendment entries in What s On.

  • Coordinate editorial review, promotional use, & subtitling.

  • Logging tapes correctly in the system once received.

  • Ensure all produced and acquired content available for transmission in advance as per the required timeline

  • Following up content delivery with suppliers and following up in case of technical problems to get replacement materials in a timely manner.

  • Deliver scheduled transmission tapes to the schedulers, transmission or library by ensuring materials are subtitled or dubbed in time.

  • Sorting the tapes channel wise & date of transmission wise & providing it to Producers.

  • Ensuring sub-titling or dubbing is done for the tapes if required.

  • Liaise with distributors, subtitling & dubbing companies on supply of materials in time for transmission.

  • Coordinate with the Rights Management department to obtain contract numbers and house numbers for programs and series, ensuring they are properly recorded in the system.

  • Coordinate professionally with the Editing Department in preparing ARM versions of programs and series to support the censorship and compliance review process.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mass Communication & Media

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position

  • Responsible and reliable

  • Able to work long shift hours and weekends

  • Able to work accurately and reliably in a high-volume environment

  • Have a strong service ethic

  • Good IT skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good command in English & Arabic

  • Team player
