On behalf of our client (a major industrial group with significant activities in manufacturing, food processing, and cosmetics) based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, we are seeking a Chief Accountant.
Reporting to the Accounting Director, the Chief Accountant manages the accounting within their scope, supervises the accounting teams, and ensures the accuracy of the accounts in compliance with OHADA standards. Main
responsibilities
: - Supervise the maintenance of general and analytical accounting.
- Manage monthly and annual closings.
- Mentor and develop the skills of accountants.
- Ensure OHADA compliance and adherence to internal procedures.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
Required profile:
- Higher education in accounting/finance.
- Proven experience as a Chief Accountant.
- Mastery of OHADA standards.
- Leadership, rigor, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in French is required.
