As part of the strengthening of its financial functions, reporting to the Tax & Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the local accounting team, ensuring the reliability of accounts, compliance with accounting standards (local and international), as well as ensuring the smooth running of monthly and annual closings. You will also be a key player in the integration and optimization of financial systems (SAP) within the structure. 

Responsabilit s :

Supervision & Management of the accounting team:

• Supervise and lead the accounting team (senior and junior accountants)
• Ensure skills development, increased autonomy and the quality of deliverables
• Ensure compliance with closing deadlines and the conformity of accounting operations

Accounting operations & financial reporting:

• Oversee daily accounting operations in compliance with accounting standards (Local GAAP / IFRS)
• Control the production of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and annual closings
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies

Compliance, fiscal & audit:

• Ensure tax and accounting compliance of operations
• Participate in the preparation of tax returns (VAT, IS, etc.)
• Support external audits in conjunction with the Tax & Accounting Manager
• Maintain fluid communication with headquarters teams for reporting alignment

Process Improvement & Systems Integration:

• Contribute to the integration and optimization of financial systems (SAP, SAGE)
• Identify areas for continuous improvement and strengthen internal controls
• Participate in the documentation of procedures and the structuring of accounting processes
