Civil Engineer (Operations and Maintenance Roads and Infrastructure)

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Civil Engineer to join our team! In this role you will directly supervise the site 0&M contracts related to Roads & Infrastructure projects.

What You ll Be Doing:

• Conduct daily civil inspections.

• Identify defects and recommend Work Orders.

• Verify contractor repairs.

• Maintain civil asset logs.

• Prepare inspection reports.

• Monitor repair quality.

• Inspect markings and traffic furniture.

• Support audits with evidence.

• Report urgent defects.

• Coordinate corrective actions.

• Maintains first-level quality assurance to confirm that the installation of all work within his/her discipline is in accordance with the plans, specifications, and industry standards.

• Should supervise the construction engineering work and provide technical expertise for one or more of the construction engineering disciplines.

• Ensures that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures.

• Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.

• Develops discipline construction schedules and monitors progress. Provides schedule and progress appraisal report to the Resident Engineer.

• Monitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline. Ensures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.

• Interface with the client and upper-level management.

What Required Skills You ll Bring:

• B.Sc. Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of O&M experiences) practical O&M experience.

• Registered as practicing engineers in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi or should have an equivalency certificate.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

What Desired Skills You ll Bring:

• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes, as well as industry practices.

• Proficiency with CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering and construction, and the proven ability for performing in a lead capacity on a project.
