Civil Performance Testing Engineer MESAR Technical Services

• Conduct detailed civil and architectural snagging inspections for villas, apartments, commercial units, and mixed-use developments.

• Identify and document defects related to:

• Structural elements (cracks, settlement, concrete defects)

• Waterproofing systems (roofs, wet areas, balconies, terraces)

• Finishes (tiling, plastering, painting, ceilings, joinery)

• Façade systems, windows & doors installation

• External works and hardscape elements

• Assess workmanship quality against approved drawings, specifications, UAE building standards, and best engineering practices.

• Perform condition surveys and technical inspections prior to handover.

• Classify defects by severity (minor / major / critical) and assess potential risk implications.

• Prepare structured professional snagging reports including:

• Technical description of defects

• Photographic evidence

• Clear location referencing

• Practical engineering comments

• Coordinate with MEP inspection engineer for integrated inspections.

• Attend client walk-through inspections when required and professionally explain findings.

• Ensure inspections are conducted objectively, independently, and with high technical integrity.

• Maintain company reputation through professional site conduct and technical competence.
