Clinical Psychologist - IVF / Fertility Services

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist with a focus on IVF and fertility care to join a leading fertility center in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing psychological assessment, counseling, and therapeutic support to individuals and couples undergoing fertility treatment, pregnancy loss, and related reproductive health challenges, in both in-person and online settings.
Preference: Female candidate with Arabic language proficiency and experience in IVF-related psychological care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and couples counseling for patients undergoing IVF, ICSI, fertility preservation, and related treatments
• Conduct psychological assessments related to infertility, treatment stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and pregnancy loss
• Support patients through sensitive processes including treatment failure, miscarriage, fetal anomalies, and decision-making
• Deliver therapy sessions in-person and via telehealth / online platforms in compliance with UAE regulations
• Collaborate closely with fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to support holistic, patient-centered fertility care
• Develop and implement coping strategies, stress management programs, and psychoeducation workshops for fertility patients
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in line with DOH and clinic policies
• Ensure ethical practice and adherence to professional standards and cultural sensitivities

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Master s or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution
• Valid DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) license or eligibility to obtain one
• Minimum 3 5 years of clinical experience, with direct exposure to IVF / fertility or women s health settings
• Demonstrated experience providing online / telepsychology sessions
• Fluency in Arabic is essential; professional English proficiency required
