We are looking for a Commis 1 to join our culinary team and support the creation of high-quality, memorable dining experiences. This role is essential in assisting the kitchen in preparation, cooking, and maintaining standards that reflect the spirit of adventure, community, and authenticity of our retreat.

Culinary Support & Preparation

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.

• Ensure ingredients are prepped, organized, and ready for service.

• Follow recipes and instructions carefully to maintain consistency and quality.

• Support plating and presentation of dishes according to restaurant standards.

Hygiene, Safety & Standards

• Adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.

• Maintain clean and organized workstations, tools, and storage areas.

• Handle ingredients, equipment, and utensils safely and responsibly.

• Report any equipment issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and service teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist in cleaning and organizing the kitchen before, during, and after service.

• Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements when appropriate.
