PURPOSE OF DUTY:

Commis Runner helps the wait staff and bartenders improve the dining experience for customers. Playing a crucial part in a restaurant, performing a range of duties as allocated by Management.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

OPERATION:
Delivering food & Drinks orders from the kitchen to customers tables rapidly and accurately
Acting as the point of contact between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities (e.g., food allergies)
Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards
Remove dirty dishes and utensils
Assist Waiters to reset tables
Ensure permanent flow of side stations filling all along shift
Answer guests questions about ingredients
To observe the Company s rules and procedures and carry out any reasonable request made by their Manager, Supervisor, or the Duty Manager.
To be aware of your responsibilities in respect of Health and Safety at Work, following all procedures in this respect and reporting to management any hazardous situation or accident.
To attend training sessions and team meetings as required and to be involved and contribute to these.

ADMINISTRATION:
To permanently follow SOP s, manual and recipes
Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
Ensures all equipment in FOH is properly maintained and in working order in accordance with local Health department.
Ensure proper grooming and hygiene standards
To be aware of your responsibilities in respect of Health and Safety at Work, following all procedures in this respect and reporting to management any hazardous situation or accident.
To attend training sessions and team meetings as required and to be involved and contribute to these.

COMMUNICATION:
To ensure and efficient communication in FOH/BOH
To attend daily team briefing
To communicate in a transparent, efficient, and proactive manner through communication tools
Display exceptional behavior to create a positive work environment, and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to management

HR & TRAINING:
Properly communicate sensitive and serious issues to appropriate people
To attend training sessions and team meetings as required and to be involved and contribute to these.
