A Consultant in the Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (PCICU) at SAUDI ARABIAN Ministry Hospital provides high-quality, specialized care for critically ill infants and children with complex cardiac conditions, particularly focusing on post-operative management.

This role requires leading resuscitation, managing ventilator support, and collaborating with cardiac surgeons to meet JCI/CBAHI standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Clinical Care: Manages critically ill patients with congenital or acquired cardiac conditions, serving as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP).
• Post-Operative Management: Specializes in the care of children immediately following cardiac surgery.
• Procedures & Protocols: Performs diagnostic/therapeutic interventions based on privileges and develops ICU protocols.
• Leadership & Supervision: Leads code blue responses, supervises Fellows, Assistant Consultants, and Residents, and participates in on-call duties.
• Quality & Education: Participates in Department Quality Improvement, educational programs, and research activities.
