Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer within Deloitte s Technology and Transformation Engineering practice, you will implement and support automated CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure provisioning, and monitoring solutions. Working closely with development, operations, and security teams, you will help accelerate software delivery, improve system reliability, and enable scalable infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools to provision and manage cloud and on-premises resources.

Support containerization and orchestration using tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Monitor application and infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement remediation.

Automate manual processes to improve deployment speed and reliability.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security and compliance into DevOps workflows.

Maintain documentation of DevOps processes, configurations, and operational procedures.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment of software releases.

Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and continuous learning initiatives.

Support incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering or related roles.

Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

Confidence in containerization (e.g. Docker) and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).

Proficiency in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, OCI, Google Cloud).

Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Dynatrace and AppDynamics).

Knowledge of observability, monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).

Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps.
