Job Description
To support its development, Sia is recruiting senior data scientist consultants.
Their role will be to handle, in synergy with our various practices, the work and missions requiring the implementation of complex models to support our clients with their issues related to:
Machine learning and statistics : development of explanatory and predictive models to aid decision-making (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnosis, ...)
Big Data : algorithmic knowledge for processing large volumes of unstructured data
Data analysis : exploration, visualization and interpretation of data to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
Data engineering : design, development and automation of data pipelines to ensure quality, reliability and availability of data at scale.
You will also be involved in the internal life of the firm , on various topics:
Knowledge development and dissemination: participation in training courses, facilitation of working groups, and distribution of internal and external materials.
Business development: participation in identifying customer needs and in sales activities.
Participation in the team's publication policy: (writing articles, presenting sector analysis, studies, white papers, etc.).
Qualifications
You have a degree from an Engineering School or a high-level qualification in the field of information processing, statistical engineering and econometrics and you have at least three years of experience in Big Data or Data Science.
You have an excellent level in statistics and quantitative analysis (theoretical and practical knowledge, intuition, ability to understand and apply models)
You are proficient in R programming (or equivalent: SAS, Matlab, etc.) and have a solid foundation in scripting languages (Python, Perl, JS, bash) or compiled languages (C++, Java) and/or have experience in UNIX/LINUX environments.
You want to get involved and quickly take on responsibilities for high value-added missions within a dynamic structure.
You have an interest in the challenges related to data and AI, an ability to quickly develop skills in these areas, and are enthusiastic about helping our clients seize the opportunities they present.
