Scope of Service: C-4 Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit (CVT) No. of Beds: Total 32 beds (20 Cardiovascular and 12 Pediatric Cardiology beds) HOURS OF OPERATION:24 hours per day, 7 days a week Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit (CVT) provides nursing care for adult and pediatric cardiac patients. The most common surgical procedures include:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Valve repair/replacement
• Heart Transplant
• Congenital Cardiac Anomalies Repair
• Post mechanical circulatory assist devices e.g.: (VAD, Heartmate)
• Correction of pediatric cardiac congenital anomalies: e.g. Arterial Switch, VSD repair, ASD repair, AVSD correction, PDA, SAMR, TOF correction, Rastelli procedure, Fontan procedure, DORV correction, RVOT correction, PA augmentations, palliative procedures such as PA banding, BT shunt, Glenn shunt and central shunt.
• Cardiac catheterization and non-surgical repair procedures are provided in Cath lab
• Pediatric Cardiology patients pre/post diagnostic
• Interventional pediatric Cardiac Cath patients.
