Corrugator Maintenance Engineer

This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep technical expertise in corrugator installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role will initially involve significant international travel (including extended periods away from Saudi Arabia) during project preparation and early support phases, before transitioning to a long-term base in Saudi Arabia (North of Riyadh) for installation, commissioning, and ongoing service support.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring world-class equipment performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Corrugator Installation & Commissioning

• Support installation, commissioning, and start-up of a new Corrugator line

• Work closely with OEM specialists, project managers, and customer teams during ramp-up

• Ensure equipment is installed and commissioned to OEM standards and best practices

Maintenance & Reliability

• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic maintenance on corrugator systems

• Diagnose and resolve complex breakdowns under production conditions

• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs

• Support optimization of machine availability, efficiency, and board quality

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide expert-level fault finding across:

• Wet end and dry end systems

• Single facer, double backer, hot plates

• Drives, controls, and automation interfaces

• Support upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives

Customer & Site Support

• Act as the primary on-site technical expert during critical project phases

• Train and mentor customer maintenance and production teams

• Support ongoing service requirements after handover, including shutdowns and major maintenance events
