Responsibilities

  • Identify relevant data sources and collect data from various internal and external databases, systems, and sources.
  • Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques and data analysis tools.Identify patterns, trends, and correlations within the data.
    Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and discover potential areas of improvement or opportunities.
  • Develop statistical models and algorithms to predict future trends, behaviors, or outcomes based on historical data.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, identify anomalies or errors, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their information needs and develop relevant reports and metrics.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or data analytics, is typically required. Some positions may prefer candidates with a master's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills are essential for data analysts. This includes the ability to analyze complex data sets, identify patterns, and draw meaningful insights. Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization techniques is valuable.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data analysis, such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Knowledge of data manipulation and querying techniques using SQL or other query languages.
