Senior Data Engineer

Formation :
Bac+5 / Engineering degree or Master's degree in Data Engineering , Computer Science , Big Data , Information Systems or any other equivalent field related to data processing and architecture.

Experience :
Design and develop efficient, reliable and scalable data pipelines to power analytical and operational platforms.
Implement large-scale data storage and processing solutions , adapted to distributed environments.
Optimize the performance of existing data systems to ensure fast, robust and secure processing.
Collaborating closely with data scientists to industrialize and deploy analytical and machine learning models in production.
Ensuring the quality , security , traceability and governance of data throughout its lifecycle.
Technical skills:
Excellent command of technical languages ​​and environments:  Python , Scala , SQL , as well as Big Data technologies such as Spark , Hadoop and Kafka .
Solid experience in developing data pipelines (ETL/ELT), batch and streaming processing , and implementing Data Lake solutions .
Good knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and orchestration and containerization tools such as Airflow , Docker and Kubernetes .
Mastery of essential practices:
• Data Engineering , ETL/ELT , Data Pipelines
• Big Data , Streaming , Batch Processing
• Cloud Data Architecture , Data Lakes
• DataOps , Data Governance , Data Quality
 

Main tasks:
Contribute to the design of high-performance data architectures integrating batch and real-time flows.
Working with distributed environments and Big Data technologies such as Spark , Hadoop or Kafka .
Develop and maintain complex pipelines and orchestrations using tools such as Airflow .
Participate in the deployment, monitoring and evolution of cloud solutions on AWS , Azure or GCP .
Collaborating with business and technical teams to understand their needs, structure data and propose suitable data solutions.
Documenting architectures, flows and best practices to ensure the consistency and sustainability of the solutions implemented.
