The L3 DC Engineer serves as a subject matter expert in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex Cisco-based data center infrastructures. They handle escalated incidents, architect solutions, and lead root cause analysis efforts.
Core Technical Skills:
- Cisco ACI Expertise:
- Deep hands-on experience with APIC, fabric setup, contracts, policies, and multi-site
- Capable of troubleshooting fabric discovery issues, endpoint learning problems, Static Bindings, Bridge Domains, and L3Out configurations
- Routing & Switching (Advanced):
- Strong knowledge and hands-on with OSPF, BGP, route maps, redistribution, and peering
- Experience designing and implementing high-availability networks and failover scenarios
- Cisco Nexus Deep-Dive:
- Expertise with NX-OS, vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Multicast routing
- Strong knowledge and hands-on with ACI device provisioning and upgrades
- Experience with data formats(XML,JSON) and Automation tools(NSO, Postman, Insomnia)

- You possess a Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- You have at least 3 years experience, ideally within a IT Consulting role.
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You have working knowledge of ACI
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
