Position Purpose

Lead comprehensive accounting operations for the Group, delivering timely monthly management accounts, financial analysis, and ensuring full compliance with UAE tax regulations, FTA audits, and Group policies.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Manage all accounting functions: Maintain up-to-date books, prepare management reports with financial analysis, handle fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, prepaid expenses, accruals, and provisions

• Oversee receivables/payables: Reconcile accounts, analyze aging reports, manage supplier/customer masters in Tally (VAT-compliant), track overdue balances, and support legal collections

• Handle intercompany reconciliations, property ownership registers, rental income tracking, and investment portfolio monitoring (shares/securities) with weekly profitability reporting

• Prepare trial balances, financial statements, cash flow statements, and MIS reports for management decision-making

Payroll, Cash & Treasury Management

• Manage monthly payroll processing and employee settlements

• Monitor daily cash positions, bank reconciliations, and cash flow optimization across Group entities

• Handle banking operations (online banking, cheques, guarantees) and coordinate insurance coverage in Head of Treasury's absence

Regulatory Compliance & Tax

• Lead VAT/Corporate Tax compliance: Prepare monthly/quarterly returns, manage FTA audits, maintain systematic documentation per FTA guidelines

• Ensure timely Trade License renewals, Dubai Municipality certifications, and all UAE regulatory requirements

• Train team on VAT/CT laws and resolve Tax department observations

Systems & Digitization

• Manage Tally ERP system: Implement VAT/CT upgrades, optimize features, and drive paperless digitization initiatives

• Monitor team performance, allocate cost centers, prepare cash budgets, and ensure accurate inter-departmental cost allocations

External Audit & Policies

• Coordinate external financial audits for all the Group entities per IFRS/UAE regulations

• Enforce the Group accounting policies (cash, credit, fixed assets, receivables/payables)

• Maintain productive team environment and optimal staff utilization

Requirements

Experience

• UAE Experience: Minimum 6 years

• Total Experience: Minimum 10 years (audit firm experience preferred)

• Technical Skills: Expert in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) + Tally ERP + accounting software
