As part of the development of new vehicle projects, our client Stellantis is strengthening its engineering teams and is looking for a Design Responsible Engineer (DRE) to lead the technical convergence of automotive components.

• As a Design Responsible Engineer (DRE), you are responsible for the technical, industrial and quality convergence of the parts entrusted to you, from definition to industrialization and production.
• You work in interface with the business teams, projects, suppliers and cross-functional departments, under the guidance of the SSTL and the project team.

Your main responsibilities

• D development & design
• To manage the technical development and industrialization of components under responsibility
• Ensuring product/process convergence in relation to the relevant third parties
• Ensure the integration of internal interfaces and the form plan in the definitions
• being responsible for technical constructions and their convergence
• Ensure the application of robustness steps in the upstream phases
• Perform or manage technical analyses (DMU, proximity, interfaces)

Project management & convergence

• Ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) objectives
• Ensure the monitoring of the development schedule and project milestones
• Manage change orders and technical updates
• Alert and escalate in case of technical or scheduling discrepancies
• Contributing to design reviews and the formalization of parts

Interfaces & coordination

• Facilitating the convergence of dl gu es interfaces
• Report the technical progress to the project team
• Participate in supplier exchanges (purchased parts)
• Contributing to quality convergence during the industrialization and launch phase

• Capitalizing on project feedback
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering practices
