Development Manager — Founding Engineering Leader Mosadad | Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (On-site) Full-time | Spaces Shantiniketan, Whitefield About Mosadad Mosadad is the UAE's national digital infrastructure platform for motor insurance recovery and settlement. We connect insurers, banks, garages, and regulators through a secure, auditable, bank-grade system — replacing manual, paper-based processes with intelligent automation. Think of us as the payment rails of insurance recovery. The Role You will lead Mosadad's entire engineering function in Bangalore. This is not a people-management-only role — you will be hands-on in architecture decisions, code quality, and delivery execution. You'll build and lead a team of 14 (4 backend, 4 frontend, 2 QA, 1 DevOps, 1 designer, 2 support) and own the technical delivery of a platform that processes real financial transactions across the UAE insurance industry. This is a founding engineering leadership role. You'll shape the team, the culture, and the technical direction from the ground up. What You'll Own — Full engineering delivery: backend, frontend, QA, DevOps, and design — Architecture and technical standards for a bank-grade, regulated platform — Recovery Clearing platform — our core product handling claims, settlements, and reconciliation — Microservices architecture, secure API design, and event-driven logging — Production readiness, release governance, and platform uptime — Technical due diligence of partner and vendor platforms — Hiring, mentoring, and performance management of the Bangalore engineering team — Scalability planning for national transaction volumes Tech Stack — Backend: .NET Core — Frontend: Angular — Database: MongoDB — Cloud: Microsoft Azure — Architecture: Microservices, RESTful APIs, event logging What We're Looking For — 15+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in engineering leadership — Deep experience with .NET Core and cloud-native architecture on Azure — Track record of building and leading teams of 10+ engineers — Experience delivering transaction-heavy, high-availability platforms (FinTech, InsurTech, payments, banking, or similar regulated industries) — Strong understanding of API security, data integrity, audit trails, and compliance — Experience with MongoDB or similar NoSQL databases at scale — Hands-on leader who can review PRs, make architecture calls, and unblock the team — not just attend meetings — Excellent communication skills to coordinate with product, operations, and leadership in the UAE Nice to Have — Experience with insurance or financial settlement systems — Experience setting up engineering teams from scratch (greenfield) — Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices — Prior experience working with distributed teams across time zones Why Mosadad — You're not joining a team.
