Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the FIG banking portfolio across the Middle East and Africa region
- Build and sustain strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Identify new opportunities and originate transactions that support regional business growth
- Act as a subject matter expert on banking sector trends, regulatory changes, and market drivers
- Provide strategic insights that shape product positioning and client engagement plans
- Represent the bank s FIG business at regional and international forums
- Develop tailored solutions for clients across lending, treasury, trade finance, and capital markets
- Maintain oversight of credit quality, risk assessment, and portfolio performance
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to secure approvals and support transaction execution
- Ensure client activities align with bank strategy and deliver sustained revenue growth
- Prepare high-quality presentations, proposals, and periodic business reviews
- Monitor competitor activity and emerging opportunities within MEA banking markets
- Strengthen the bank s brand positioning through consistent relationship management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards
- Support senior leadership in developing long-term regional growth plans

Ideal Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; postgraduate qualifications preferred
- Strong experience in FIG coverage, banking relationships, or corporate/investment banking within MEA markets
- Proven track record in originating and executing complex financial transactions
- Deep understanding of regional banking dynamics, regulations, and industry trends
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to transform market insights into business strategy
- Ability to manage multiple high-impact engagements under pressure
- Leadership capability with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach
