Drafter / Designer in Civil Engineering Structures

Reporting to the studies department of the Infrastructures division, you will participate in the design, modeling and production of technical plans for engineering structures (bridges, viaducts, tunnels, overpasses, footbridges, hydraulic structures, etc.), from the preliminary design phases to the execution studies, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance and coordination with other project stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities

Production of plans and technical documents

• to develop execution plans, technical diagrams and construction details for engineering structures.
• Produce reinforcement plans, formwork plans and technical synthesis plans.
• Produce the architectural and functional detail drawings.
• Update the plans according to project developments and site modifications.

Modeling and design

• Create 2D plans and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit or specialized software.
• Participate in BIM coordination when required.
• Ensure the consistency of the plans with structural, architectural and geotechnical constraints.

Sizing and verification

• Participate in the dimensioning of structures (beams, slabs, abutments, piles).
• Verify the technical data transmitted by the structural engineers.
• Check that the plans comply with the standards and specifications.
• Participate in stability and construction feasibility checks.

Coordination technique

• Collaborate closely with structural engineers and project managers.
• Provide technical interface with related work packages (geotechnical, electricity, roadworks and utilities, architecture).
• Participate in technical coordination and synthesis meetings.

As and according to

• Ensure compliance with applicable road, rail or hydraulic standards.
• Apply the QHSE requirements specific to the project.
• Report any technical inconsistencies or non-conformities detected.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
