Description

• Supervise and manage the execution of 132kV/220kV/400kV OHL works at site in line with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and verify design drawings, profiles, and sag-tension calculations before implementation.
• Coordinate with the civil team for foundation readiness and tower erection sequence.
• Ensure tower erection, stringing, and sagging activities are carried out as per method statements and safety procedures.
• Raise RFIs and coordinate with client/consultant for inspections and approvals at every stage.
• Maintain daily progress reports, monitor productivity, and highlight any technical or logistical issues.
• Verify materials and consumables as per approved material submittals (insulators, conductors, fittings, etc.).
• Support in pre-commissioning and commissioning of OHL, including final inspection and punch list clearance.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental standards throughout site activities.
• Coordinate with project controls for progress reporting and schedule updates.
• Prepare as-built documentation, test records, and handover dossiers upon completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• 5-7 years of professional experience in EHV/HV transmission line projects (132kV and above).
• Hands-on experience in design review, site execution, and commissioning of Overhead Transmission Lines (OHL).
• Prior exposure to utility standards such as DEWA / TRANSCO / SEC / MEW or equivalent (DEWA/TAQA/EWE approvals mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of project execution workflows, HSE standards, and quality assurance procedures in EPC environments.
• Experience in coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal design/construction teams.
• UAE / GCC experience preferred
