The Role

This exciting opportunity is perfect for someone with a deep enthusiasm for the English language, a strong commitment to current pedagogy, and a proven record of outstanding teaching practice at GCSE/IGCSE and A Level. You will play a key role in shaping our English curriculum, delivering engaging lessons and fostering a dynamic learning environment where students can truly flourish. With a focus on high expectations and meaningful assessment you will empower students to think critically, communicate confidently, and achieve their full potential.

You will:

Deliver high-quality teaching and learning aligned with the English National Curriculum.

Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential academically and personally.

Plan creative and challenging lessons that stretch every learner.

Use assessment and feedback effectively to ensure continual progress.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the department s curriculum.

Contribute to the school s vibrant co-curricular and enrichment programme.

Embody the values and vision of Queen s and Artemis Education in everything you do.

The Ideal Candidate

A qualified teacher with a Bachelor s degree in English and PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).

Has at least 5 years' experience teaching the English National Curriculum in the Secondary phase.

An educator with a proven record of successful teaching iGCSE and A-Level, ideally within international or British curriculum schools.

Skilled at creating inclusive, engaging learning environments that challenge and support every student.

Confident in integrating technology to enhance learning experiences.

A collaborative professional who thrives in a diverse, forward-thinking team.

Enthusiastic, creative, and committed to continuous improvement and innovation
