Main job function: 

• Ensure the operational implementation of the SAIDAL Group's environmental management system (EMS), ensuring control of environmental aspects, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and other requirements, and the prevention of pollution.

The main tasks:

• Identify and assess environmental aspects and their impacts.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory environmental standards.
• Implement pollution prevention measures.
• Contribute to the management of emergency situations and environmental incidents.
• Awareness and communication: Train staff, develop posters/leaflets and
• to promote an ecological culture (eco-friendly actions).
• Regulatory compliance: Ensuring legal monitoring and compliance with standards
• environmental and legal requirements.
• Waste management: 1. Identify the types of waste (special, household, hazardous), and organize their collection.
• and the ecological treatment.
• Environmental Management (EMS): Participate in impact assessments, develop strategies,
• and implement ISO 14001 type management systems.
• Control and audit: Verify the impact of activities on the environment, identify weaknesses and
• propose corrective actions.

Responsibility :

• The Environmental Officer ensures compliance with environmental requirements at the operational level. They participate in regulatory compliance, report any situation with environmental implications, and propose corrective and preventive actions. They contribute to improving environmental performance and implementing the EMS system according to ISO 14001.
