In project management at PwC, you will oversee and coordinate various projects to facilitate successful delivery within budget and timeline. You will leverage strong organisational and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: As an Associate PMO/Project Coordinator at PwC, you will be responsible for leading technical projects, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high-quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate the successful implementation of technology strategies in alignment with PwC s commitment to innovation. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing PwC s service offerings in the technology sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the project governance and PMO responsibilities for technical projects, following agile and traditional project management methodologies. Drive project support to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors to gather requirements, understand project goals, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, helping to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure the quality of deliverables.

  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve project management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular status updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.

  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to PwC s quality standards and frameworks throughout the project lifecycle, with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.

Skills:

Agile and Lean practices

You have a foundational understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies and can assist in applying these practices within your team. You support team members by encouraging the adoption of tools and techniques that improve efficiency and responsiveness to changing requirements.

Intermediate

Possesses a solid understanding of Agile and Lean principles, contributing to process improvement discussions and participating in the implementation of practices that enhance project outcomes.

Waterfall methodologies

You are familiar with waterfall project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2. You assist in organizing project phases and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress through structured communication.

Intermediate

Able to support project planning and execution through established structured methods, ensuring appropriate documentation and adherence to timelines.

Communicating between the technical and non-technical

You facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping to bridge gaps in understanding. You support the team in clearly articulating project status, needs, and challenges.

Intermediate

Adept at conveying complex technical information in an accessible way, enhancing stakeholder comprehension and ensuring that project goals are transparent to all parties.

Maintaining delivery momentum

You play a key role in tracking project progress and identifying potential roadblocks. You work proactively with teams to ensure that delivery commitments are met by facilitating problem-solving discussions.

Intermediate

Effectively monitors project workflows, addresses obstacles promptly, and utilizes established tools for ensuring teams remain focused on their tasks.

Making the process work

You help identify and optimize processes that enhance team productivity. You support continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback from team members and suggesting enhancements to existing workflows.

Intermediate

Engages in process evaluation and improvement, actively contributing to discussions about efficiency and impact while promoting a culture of adaptability within the team.

Planning and Scheduling

You assist in the planning and scheduling of project activities, ensuring that timelines are realistic and achievable. You coordinate resources and track progress against the project plan, making adjustments as necessary.

Intermediate

Contributes to detailed project scheduling and resource allocation, facilitating timely execution of tasks and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
