Facility maintenance Foreman- mechanical Seerah Operation and Maintenance Company.

Role Brief-

As a Mechanical Foreman, responsibility will be for the daily inspection and maintenance of mechanical equipment, familiarization with facility specifications, emergency response and reporting, and managing spare parts inventory. The role will also involve executing and overseeing repairs, identifying defects, acquiring technical knowledge for facility improvement, and presenting opinions on repair and improvement plans.

Responsibilities-

1. Perform preventive maintenance checks and repairs on mechanical devices. 2. Detect malfunctions through observation (auditory or visual). 3. Run diagnostic tests to check system functionality. 4. Repair broken or defective mechanical parts. 5. Conduct regular and minor repairs of equipment according to the repair plan. 6. Perform emergency repairs. 7. Select appropriate materials according to mechanical requirements. 8. Align and calibrate mechanical parts. 9. Monitor and report project progress. 10. Manage spare parts usage and identify inventory status according to the spare parts supply and demand plan. 11. Acquire technical knowledge to improve facilities and management. 12. Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations. 13. Supervise and train mechanical team members. 14. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. 15. Prepare and submit maintenance reports and documentation. 16. Create, development and implementation of maintenance strategies and plans. 17. Ensure the proper functioning of mechanical systems during plant operations. 18. Inspect mechanical installations and systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations. 19. Provide technical support and guidance to the team. 20. Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment. 21. Ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment for maintenance tasks. 22. Participate in safety and quality audits. 23. Support continuous improvement initiatives. 24. Liaise with management to report on maintenance activities and issues. 25. Utilize ERP systems for reporting and documentation purposes. 26. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. 27. Develop and implement training programs for team members. 28. Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. 29. Identify and address potential safety hazards. 30. Manage maintenance projects from planning to execution. 31. Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues. 32. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. 33. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials. 34. Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team. 35. Perform all other related duties as assigned by the manager.

Requirements and skills

1. Technical college graduate with at least 5 years of experience as a Foreman and 10 years of experience as a Leader, along with years of equipment maintenance experience in a steel company. 2. Excellent understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics. 3. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. 4. Understanding of major mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, conveyors, etc.). 5. Proficiency in using power and hand tools (e.g., hoists and cranes) to install new systems and replace defective parts. 6. Experience and understanding of applicable procedures, Work Instructions, and Specifications. Basic English proficiency.
