Field Specialist III - MPD Weatherford International Oil Field Services

Responsibilities

• Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring all DST and RCD operations comply with Company's Security, Compliance & HSE policies
• Adheres to Weatherford's Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices
• Submits all job-related data including job reports, WPTS data entry, observation cards, service tickets, and logs with required signatures
• Available on 24-hour call basis to respond to customer needs regarding DST operations and RCD issues
• Tests, operates & maintains DST tools, RCD equipment, and related systems according to work instructions and procedures
• Develops and maintains positive client relationships to ensure repeat business
• Takes full responsibility for delivering superior Service Quality to clients during DST and RCD operations
• Effectively manages inventory and supplies required for DST equipment and RCD components at well sites
• Follows up on equipment failures with the R&M team and ensures failure reports are closed with clients
• Contributes to or leads equipment failure investigations supporting Root Cause Analysis reports
• Oversees, leads, and mentors Field Operation crew members in DST and RCD operations as required by role level
• Acts as technical advisor to management for DST and RCD operations (senior roles)
• Interprets data for client representatives to optimize DST services and RCD performance (senior roles)
• Performs engineering checks while on client location, including hand calculations and software computations
• Manages the installation of complex DST equipment and RCD systems in the field (senior level)

Skills

• Fundamentals of Mechanics, Electricity, Electronics, Pneumatics, and/or Hydraulics as applied to DST equipment and RCD systems
• Mathematics and calculations relevant to pressure control and flow measurement
• Computer fundamentals and proficiency with relevant software systems
• Critical thinking, active learning & listening, and complex problem solving, especially in high-pressure drilling environments
• Good reading and writing skills for technical documentation
• Strong judgment and decision-making aligned with policies & procedures
• Effective time management skills for efficient DST and RCD operations
• Quality Control Analysis to ensure DST equipment and RCD systems meet required standards
• Strong service orientation and client relationship management
• Physical capability to undertake tasks required for DST equipment operation and RCD maintenance
• Spatial visualization skills to imagine how tools and products will look when preparing for assembly, repair, or modifications
• Mathematical reasoning for pressure calculations and equipment specifications
• Understanding of well control principles and pressure management techniques
