The Finance & Accounting Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the company s financial operations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records, and supporting management with reliable financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. Key responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, treasury and banking operations, reconciliations, and budget monitoring. The role also ensures full compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal company policies. This position plays a vital part in ensuring financial stability, transparency, and operational efficiency, particularly within the dynamic and highly competitive freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Record, classify, and reconcile daily financial transactions in the ERP accounting system (Odoo preferred).
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow reports.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT submissions, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and provide financial documentation for internal and external audits.
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records according to company policies.

Accounts & Treasury Management

• Process supplier invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors and service providers.
• Track customer accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up to ensure timely collections.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with clients, vendors, and partners.
• Manage company bank accounts, reconcile bank statements, and oversee cash flow operations.
• Execute wire transfers, payroll, and other financial transactions securely and on time.
• Handle foreign currency transactions and international payments related to logistics and freight services.

Internal Support, Analysis & Coordination

• Provide management with accurate financial analysis and insights to support business planning.
• Monitor and analyze logistics-related financial activities such as freight costs, customs duties, and supplier payments.
• Collaborate with HR to process payroll, employee advances, and expense reimbursements.
• Support cross-department teams by providing financial data for operations, sales, and business development.
• Contribute to improving financial processes and ERP automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
