Finance Associate - Experienced Associate Deloitte

1. Strategic Business Partnering

• Act as the primary finance counterpart to the Cyber Portfolio leadership

• Translate portfolio strategy into financial implications and actions

• Challenge assumptions, identify risks & opportunities, and support decision-making

2. Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast cycles (3+9, 6+6, etc.)

• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses (pipeline, utilization, pricing)

• Own forecast accuracy and provide clear explanations for variances

3. Performance Management & Insights

• Own Cyber P&L performance (Revenue, GM, Direct Costs, Overheads)

• Identify margin leakage and drive profitability improvement initiatives

• Monitor utilization, recovery rates, and workforce productivity

4. Revenue, Pipeline & Commercial Oversight

• Partner with Cyber leadership on revenue forecasting and pipeline conversion

• Support pricing reviews, margin assessments, and deal approvals

• Track contract performance, rebates, write-ups/downs, and risks

• Ensure revenue recognition assumptions are commercially sound

5. Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

• Present insights to Senior Leadership, Partners, and COO

• Act as a trusted advisor in leadership forums and portfolio reviews

• Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and Operations teams

Skills & Capabilities

1. Technical & Analytical

• Strong FP&A, forecasting, and financial modeling skills

• Excellent understanding of professional services economics

• Advanced Excel & Power BI (or equivalent) capabilities

• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights

2. Business & Leadership

• Strong commercial acumen and business judgment

• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without authority

• Confident communicator with executive presence
