Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Facility Management Consultant to lead the optimization and management of mechanical systems and facilities for our Client. This role requires a robust background in mechanical engineering principles and strong project management expertise. Collaborating with facility managers, engineers, and senior leadership, you will provide strategic guidance to ensure the efficiency, reliability, and compliance of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

System Assessment and Analysis:

Conduct detailed evaluations of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, energy savings, and cost reductions.

Strategic Optimization:

Develop long-term plans for equipment upgrades, retrofits, and replacements to enhance system reliability and lifespan.

Create and implement maintenance schedules aligned with organizational goals.

Technical Advisory:

Provide expert recommendations and innovative solutions for complex mechanical challenges.

Ensure all designs and systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and codes.

Project Leadership:

Oversee projects related to mechanical system improvements, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.

Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Risk Mitigation:

Perform risk assessments on mechanical systems to identify potential operational disruptions.

Develop preventive strategies and emergency response plans to minimize risks and downtime.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Implement systems for tracking the performance and efficiency of mechanical operations.

Conduct audits, analyze data, and prepare reports highlighting areas for further enhancement.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with facility managers, engineers, and executives to align improvements with organizational priorities.

Deliver clear presentations and technical documentation to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Extensive experience in facilities management or consulting with a focus on mechanical systems.

Expertise in HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and related mechanical disciplines.

Proficient understanding of industry standards such as SFG-20, NFPA, CIBSE, Saudi Building Code, and ASHRAE.

Demonstrated ability to review technical documents and provide actionable recommendations.

Strong analytical skills to diagnose and solve complex mechanical challenges.

Exceptional project management skills, including planning, organizing, and execution.

Excellent communication skills to effectively translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
