Furniture Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily production operations for kitchens and dressing rooms
• Prepare production schedules based on sales orders, drawings, and delivery timelines
• Monitor workflow to ensure on-time completion of projects
• Coordinate with design, sales, and installation teams

Team Management

• Supervise carpenters, machine operators, assemblers, and finishing teams
• Assign tasks and manage manpower efficiently
• Train staff on production techniques, safety, and quality standards
• Evaluate team performance and recommend improvements

Quality Control

• Ensure all products meet company quality standards and client specifications
• Inspect materials, components, and finished products
• Address quality issues and implement corrective actions

Materials & Machinery Management

• Manage raw material usage (wood panels, MDF, hardware, accessories, finishes)
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of machinery (CNC, edge banding, cutting machines, spray booths, etc.)

Cost & Efficiency Optimization

• Reduce material waste and production downtime
• Control production costs and improve efficiency
• Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing practices

Health & Safety

• Enforce workplace safety rules and procedures
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

Reporting

• Prepare production reports (output, efficiency, delays, material usage)
• Report production status and challenges to senior management

• Diploma or Bachelor s degree in Furniture Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Experience 5+ Years in Furniture Manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of kitchen and dressing room manufacturing processes
• Experience with custom and modular furniture
• Ability to read shop drawings and technical designs
• Leadership and team management skills
• Production planning and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, and finishes
• Familiarity with CNC machines and modern woodworking equipment
• Good communication and coordination skills
