Gastroenterology Specialist - Arabic Speaking

Skillset

Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, hepatitis, cirrhosis, peptic ulcer disease, and GI malignancies.

Arabic-Speaking Gastroenterology Specialist
Location: Al Rahba Hospital Approximately 80 km from Abu Dhabi City

Job Summary:
The Gastroenterology Specialist will provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive care for patients with gastrointestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary disorders. The role involves outpatient consultations, inpatient management, and endoscopic procedures, with a strong emphasis on Arabic-speaking patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
*Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatology conditions.
*Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
*Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, including emergency GI conditions such as GI bleeding.
*Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, pathology, and endoscopy findings.
*Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care effectively in Arabic.
*Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and DOH standards.
*Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Postgraduate qualification in Gastroenterology (MD/DM/MRCP or equivalent).
- Valid DOH license or DOH eligibility.
- Proven experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
- Willingness to work at Al Rahba Hospital location.
