الأدوار والمسؤوليات

1. Diagnosis and Clinical Examination:

  • Examine the mouth, teeth, and gums to diagnose issues such as cavities, gum infections, or tooth loss.

  • Use X-rays to detect hidden problems.

2. Providing General Treatments:

  • Fill decayed or damaged teeth.

  • Perform teeth cleaning and scaling.

  • Extract teeth when necessary.

3. Preventive Care:

  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene.

  • Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants, especially for children.

4. Basic and Moderate Restorations:

  • Fit crowns and bridges.

  • Perform simple root canal treatments if not too complex.

5. Referring Complex Cases:

  • Refer patients to specialists (e.g., oral surgeons or orthodontists) when needed.

6. Medical Record Keeping:

  • Maintain detailed records of patients' medical history, treatment plans, and progress.

7. Infection Control Compliance:

  • Follow strict sterilization and infection control procedures.

  • Use sterilized instruments and maintain hygiene at all times.

8. Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with dental assistants, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient experience.

الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين

1. Educational Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS or DDS) from a recognized university.

  • Completion of a one-year internship at an accredited hospital or medical center.

2. Professional Licensing:

  • A valid professional license from the relevant health authority (e.g., Saudi Commission for Health Specialties SCFHS).

  • Successful completion of licensing exams such as Prometric or local board exams.

  • Commitment to periodic license renewal and participation in Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs.

3. Clinical and Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of dental tools and modern dental procedures.

  • Ability to perform general dental treatments such as fillings, extractions, cleanings, and simple restorations.

  • Adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.

4. Personal and Professional Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with patients and team members.

  • Compassionate and able to calm anxious patients.

  • Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure.

5. Familiarity with Modern Technologies:

  • Preferable experience with dental clinic management software or digital radiography.

  • Staying up to date with advancements in dentistry through conferences and training.
