Job Description
Summary:
The Registered Nurse plays a vital role in maintaining the health and well-being of workers within the camp environment. This position ensures consistent delivery of high-quality nursing care, both routine and emergency, under the supervision of the camp doctor. The nurse is responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, health monitoring, and promoting a safe, hygienic living environment. By supporting medical operations and responding effectively to emergencies, the nurse contributes significantly to the overall safety and operational continuity of the camp.
Responsibilities:
Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to camp residents.
Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy in accordance with medical prescriptions.
Monitor vital signs and conduct patient assessments to identify health changes promptly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Perform wound care, dressing changes, and implement infection control protocols.
Support the camp doctor in daily medical operations, health screenings, and emergency response.
Promote health awareness and enforce hygiene and safety standards across the camp.
Requirements
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
Minimum of 2 years of professional nursing experience.
Proven proficiency in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and basic medical procedures.
Demonstrated ability to administer medications, injections, and IV therapy safely and accurately.
Competency in wound care, infection control, and emergency response, including CPR and first aid.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
