Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care

2. Patient Communication & Education

3. Referrals & Collaboration

Refer patients to specialists, hospitals, or allied health professionals when necessary.

Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care.

4. Clinical Procedures

Perform minor surgical procedures (e.g., wound suturing, abscess drainage).

Conduct diagnostic tests (e.g., ECG, blood pressure monitoring).

Interpret laboratory and imaging results.

5. Record Keeping & Administration

Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.

Write reports, medical certificates, and prescriptions.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and ethical standards.

6. Continuous Professional Development

Keep up to date with medical research, treatments, and best practices.

Attend training, workshops, and medical conferences.

Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives.

7. Community & Preventive Health

Promote public health initiatives such as smoking cessation, nutrition, and exercise programs.

Participate in vaccination campaigns and health awareness programs.
