الأدوار والمسؤوليات
Perform geological analysis and studies related to UR basin and prospect assessments in KSA:
- Regional geological evaluation of unconventional plays
- Reservoir characterization in unconventional hydrocarbons plays (tight gas, shale gas, unconventional oil, and/or coal bed methane)
- Structural characterization of faulted, naturally fractured reservoirs
- Sedimentology and sequence stratigraphic analysis
- Depositional and digenetic history analysis
- Geochemistry, petroleum systems and basin modeling
- Log analysis and interpretation in unconventional reservoirs
- Sweet-spot detection
- Application of uncertainty analysis and resource estimation
- Perform/supervise creation of maps, cross-sections, geomodels, etc.
- Experience in locating and providing geological support to drilling operations in unconventional plays
الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين
Bachelor's degree in geology or a related science as appropriate to the required discipline. An advanced degree is preferred and will reduce prerequisite work experience stated below by one year for master degree and two years for PhD.
Experience:
A minimum of fifteen (15) years work experience with an oil and gas operating company, with at least 5 years experience in unconventional hydrocarbon basins with some US experience preferred. Prior consulting/secondment experience a plus.
Skills:
Advanced knowledge and application of geologic principles. Good working knowledge of BHI products and services. Excellent client relations, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; a real team player.
Software Skills:
Strong geological software skills
