PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Guide Agile teams in the effective use of Scrum frameworks, practices, and principles.

2. Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

3. Work closely with product owners, developers, QA, and stakeholders to maintain a clear and prioritized product backlog.

4. Identify and eliminate roadblocks that hinder the team s productivity and velocity.

5. Track team performance using Agile metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.

6. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration within the team.

7. Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile best practices.

8. Support multiple Scrum teams and ensure consistency in Agile delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTIBILITIES

1. Carry out daily operations assigned for the department to comply with the company s standards.

2. Prepare timely and accurate department reports to meet the requirements, objectives, and standards of the company and the department.

3. Ensure the satisfaction of internal and external customers to address their needs in a courteous and timely manner.

4. Follow all relevant policies, procedures, and processes in order for the work to be carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

5. Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices, work processes, cost effectiveness, and productivity enhancement.

6. Promote to other employees within the organization the implementation and adherence to policies, procedures, processes, and instructions.

7. Maintain a good and respectful relationship with other colleagues and represent the company in a good image.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computing Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Statistics or related field.

Master s degree (optional) in Data Science, Business Analytics, or an MBA with a data focus.

Knowledge and Experience

6 + years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software or data product development environment. Ideally in Capital Markets, Finance or Banking.

Experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment

Solid understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).

Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.

Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar project management systems.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work effectively with internal departments.

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly preferred. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Knowledge of software development life cycles and Agile delivery within SaaS or technology companies is a plus.

Skills Required
