Drive the strategic direction and the execution of the Compliance program across all OKX entities within Europe.
- Manage and elevate the performance of Country Heads of Compliance and MLROs, moving the team to a more unified, fast-moving regional force.
- Audit current workflows and ruthlessly eliminate inefficiencies. Implement robust, scalable frameworks that reduce manual workload and utilize data/tech to speed up decision-making.
- Liaise with first, second, and third-line teams to build a control environment that exceeds regulatory standards while maintaining commercial agility.
- Oversee compliance reviews and investigations.
- Produce data-driven compliance reports for management and the Board. You will focus on metrics, SLAs, and KPIs that demonstrate the speed and effectiveness of the compliance function.
- Participate in Board committee and sub-committee meetings, whether as a member or on an as-needed basis.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex issues, providing decisive, commercially aware guidance to business stakeholders.

8+ years of experience in compliance within financial services, FinTech or cryptocurrency industries, with a specific track record of operationalizing compliance strategies.
- You don't just identify problems, you fix them. You have a proven ability to work fast, meet tight deadlines, and drive projects to completion in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience reporting into or working closely with Operations teams. You understand how to balance regulatory safety with operational speed.
- Deep understanding of EU regulations (MiCA, GDPR, AMLD5/6) and UK regimes. You know how to navigate the fragmented European regulatory landscape.
- Strong people management skills with experience leading dispersed teams. You know how to rally a team around a common goal and drive performance.
- You are comfortable using data to measure team performance, identify bottlenecks, and justify resource allocation.
- Crisp, high-impact communication skills. You can explain complex regulatory concepts to product teams and operational challenges to regulators.
