Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Awal (KBZA) School is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Head of Physical Education to join our team in the upcoming AY 26-2027. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a pilot public school in Abu Dhabi.

At Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Awal (KBZA) School, we proudly introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum that integrated with MoE curriculum in Abu Dhabi, offering the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. Key Requirements:

Bachelor s degree in Education, (with specialization in the assigned area of responsibility); teaching qualification/license preferred.
Master's degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years successful teaching experience; with prior leadership/coordinator experience.
Strong knowledge of the subject experience with IB is desirable.
Knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum, assessment, student learning, management of student behavior, teaching and learning strategies.
Leadership skills, including people management, negotiation and conflict management, strategic planning.
Relationship management skills with colleagues, parents, and students.
Organizational and change management skills.
Interpersonal skills, especially in being a good listener; skills in written and oral communications; administrative skills.
Experience leading/facilitating CPD and coaching programmes.
Effective use of educational technology
Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, deal with challenging situations and be resilient.
