Key Role Responsibilities:
- To undertake the cleaning of the center, ensuring that a high standard of work is maintained throughout.
- To ensure that the correct products are used for cleaning patient rooms, as specified in the Housekeeping cleaning sheets.
- To ensure that all linen used is freshly laundered and is not stained or damaged.
- To report any linen damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- To ensure all areas, including high level areas, are dusted every day in all areas.
- To report any maintenance problems observed either in patient rooms or around the center immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- To observe furniture damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- To ensure that soiled linen containers are emptied at regular frequent intervals.
- To maintain a professional, helpful attitude whilst on duty towards patients, consultants, visitors and fellow members of the staff.
- To ensure the correct uniform and name badge are worn at all times whilst on duty.
- Ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Regulations; ensuring that incidents and accidents are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor and subsequently recorded accurately and in the correct manner according to hospital policy.
- At all times maintain own working environment in a clean, neat and de-cluttered manner and adhere to Infection Prevention & Control procedures and practices so as to proactively contribute to the protection of patients, visitors and staff.
- Promoting professional working environment conductive to high staff morale, paying particular attention to ensuring good inter-staff communications.
Other Requirements:
- High School.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and machines.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to details.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Can join immediately.
- Visa transfer (NOC available).
