JASARA PMC is excited to announce an opening for the HSE Director specifically for our GIGA project. In this critical role, you will be tasked with ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental management throughout the planning and execution of the project. You will work at the forefront of innovative project management, playing a vital role in promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

As part of JASARA PMC, a leader in project management within the construction sector, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver an extraordinary experience that showcases excellence while prioritizing health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of HSE strategies tailored to the unique requirements of the Project.
• Ensure all project activities comply with local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, regularly inspect project sites, and initiate corrective actions to mitigate identified hazards.
• Facilitate training and awareness programs for all team members to ensure understanding and adherence to HSE policies.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead investigations into incidents, providing insights and recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Partner with external regulatory bodies and industry organizations to promote best practices in HSE management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 18 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with significant exposure to large-scale projects, preferably in the Giga/Mega Projects or similar environments.
• Thorough understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE strategies and programs in complex project settings.
• Exceptional leadership skills with strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the capability to conduct root cause analysis and drive change.
• Professional certifications related to HSE management, such as NEBOSH or equivalent, are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English.
