Wood is recruiting for a HV technician to join its Iraq business unit focusing on O&M Services during the Operation Period Electrical Balance of Plant.

This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement.

u>Job Objectives:/u>

• O&M Services during the Operation Period Electrical Balance of Plant From the start of the operations, shall perform the Preventive Maintenance and the Corrective Maintenance in accordance with the Customer s operating procedures, maintenance plans, work instructions and HSE requirements.
• Preventive maintenance All activities shall be performed according to the operating procedures, maintenance plans and HSE Plan provided by Customer and in such a manner that it does not affect the warranties in favor of the Customer
• Findings of equipment failures and or deviations from expected normal wear and tear or operation must be corrected
• Shall perform all required corrective maintenance actions, in respect of the Electrical BoP Plant to ensure achievement of an optimized performance and minimize severity and duration of incidents and outages.
• Shall remedy any error, fault or defect including damage to the Electrical BoP Plant and/or disruptions in relation to the performance and/or running of the SPP.
• Corrective Maintenance includes all activities, including investigations, tests and similar where necessary to discover, identify, locate the failure and its possible causes (e.g. electrical tests and measurements, physical checks) which are necessary to correct and remedy any incident, defect, failure, breakage, breakdown, deviation, malfunction or anomaly arisen at the Electrical BoP Plant irrespective if it is caused by a defect of an element, by an error of installation, by wear and tear or other reasons, and irrespective if the cause is external or internal to the Electrical BoP Plant
• The Corrective Maintenance shall be carried out to (i) optimize the capacity and to (ii) maximize the performance of the Project.
• Shall perform the corrective maintenance in respect of the Guaranteed Reaction Times and the safety at Site.
• If there are no activities to be performed within the HV scope, HV technicians will carry out the tasks assigned to LV/MV technicians.
