The RPID is responsible for leading and/or implementing development, industrialization, and transfer activities on the industrial projects entrusted to it. It ensures compliance with Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Environmental (QCDS) objectives while providing cross-functional coordination and engaging internal and external stakeholders.

Main missions

Definition and management of the industrial strategy:

• Propose, validate and implement the industrial scheme (Make or Buy).
• Participate in the selection of suppliers, in line with the Program requirements and the industrial strategy.

Risk management and planning:

• Establish and manage risks from the MER1 phase.
• Establish the overall project plan (development, industrialization, supply) and ensure rigorous monitoring.

Cost control:

• Establish the system quote by consolidating and challenging the contributors.
• Validate and define the QCDRS (Quality, Cost, Time, Safety, Robustness) requirements.
• Maintain the Permanent Quote (PC) costs and quality, and validate the Recurring Product Cost (RPC).
• Managing the Cost of Industrialization and Termination (CAT).

Product development and industrialization:

• Contribute to the development and validation of the development logic (LDEV).
• To implement and manage the industrialization plan, the supply of prototypes and pre-series equipment, as well as the production plan.
• Participate in the Design Cost Objective (DCxO) approach.
• Ensure the integration of industrial constraints (manufacturability, processes, resources).
• Ensure that the Feedback (RETEX) is taken into account.
• Participate in the work to achieve product and process maturity (product/process FMEA, determination of KCs, robustness).

Document management and validation:

• Create and manage the evolution of the Manufacturing and Control File (DFC), Industrial Validation File (DVI / PPAP), and maintenance file, in accordance with the definition file.
• Manage the industrial validation process and validate or reject industrialization reviews.
• Position yourself for the Industrialization Department (DI) during MER reviews.

Industrial resources:

• Acquire and put into service the industrial resources adapted to the projects.

Management et communication :

• Lead and manage the project team and cross-functional coordination with multiple stakeholders (Supply chain, Quality, Production, Industrial Engineering, Maintenance, DT, Program, COI France, clients, suppliers).
• Prepare periodic reports on the project portfolio and ensure communication with internal and external clients.

Continuous improvement:

• Capitalize on, formalize and disseminate best practices within the workshops.
• To research, propose and promote solutions for improvement.
