They supervise and lead one of the kindergarten groups in cooperation with an assistant.

• As a German-speaking educator, you are responsible for teaching the German language and culture in the seven educational areas of language, motor skills, music, mathematics, natural sciences, social and creative development.
• Together with your assistant, you will develop educational programs and monthly plans, assess the individual developmental level of the children using a standardized observation procedure, and develop appropriate support measures.
• They participate in regular team meetings and are responsible for the continuous implementation of the Thuringian education plan as well as compliance with and implementation of local regulations.
• You work full-time, 40 hours per week; depending on the work schedule, you are also responsible for other children in the afternoon in addition to your own group.
• Designing a child-centered learning and living environment that is geared towards the interests, needs and strengths of the children.
• Implementation of a participatory approach that actively involves children in decisions and strengthens their self-efficacy.
• A sensitive and respectful approach to cultural diversity and interculturality
• Observation, documentation and reflection of development processes
• Close and trusting collaboration within the multi-professional team
• Constructive cooperation and respectful communication with parents
• Active participation in the further development of the pedagogical quality of the kindergarten
