A. Operational Coordination:

• Shipment Management: Plan, book, and coordinate the movement of goods via air, sea, and land freight (trucking) for both domestic and international shipments.
• Documentation: Prepare, verify, and process all necessary shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Airway Bills (AWB), Certificates of Origin, and customs declarations (Bayan/Saber).
• Carrier Management: Liaise daily with 3PLs, freight forwarders, carriers, shipping lines, and local customs brokers to ensure smooth and timely execution of freight activities.
• KSA Customs Clearance: Manage the customs clearance process, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Customs (ZATCA) regulations, managing tariff codes, and resolving any inspection or hold issues promptly.

B. Tracking, Reporting, and Cost Control:

• Visibility: Maintain a real-time tracking system for all active shipments, providing accurate and proactive updates on arrival times (ETA) to internal stakeholders.
• Cost Efficiency: Request, evaluate, and negotiate freight quotations from vendors to optimize cost efficiency and service quality.
• Invoice Auditing: Audit and process freight and vendor invoices for payment, ensuring alignment with agreed rates and service contracts.
• Performance Monitoring: Contribute to the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, focusing on on-time delivery (OTD) and cost-per-shipment (CPS).

C. Compliance and Improvement

• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to KSA transportation laws, import/export controls, and relevant international trade compliance standards.
• Process Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce transit times, and mitigate supply chain risks.
