Marine Construction Manager – Jetty / Port Project – Kandla, India

The Marine Construction Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all marine construction activities for the jetty project. This role ensures that all works are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The candidate must possess marine engineering expertise and experience in jetty, wharf, berth, or similar waterfront structures construction

Project Planning & Execution

• Prepare detailed construction execution plans, work methodologies, and sequencing for marine works such as piling, decking, trestle, approach jetty, and berth construction.

• Following up with contractor for expediting the project work.

• Monitor daily progress and ensure adherence to the project schedule.

• Review and approve construction drawings, method statements, and work permits.

• Certify contractor RA Bills.

• Aware with the risk associated with berth piling with Jack up barge and taking corrective action to avoid any incident

Site Supervision

• Lead and supervise site teams, contractors.

• Ensure all marine construction activities comply with engineering specifications and quality standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship and material compliance.

• Resolve technical issues in coordination with the Engineering and QA/QC departments.

Safety & Compliance

• Implement and enforce strict HSE standards for all marine operations.

• Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety audits for marine activities.

• Ensure compliance with port regulations, environmental guidelines, and statutory approvals.
