Material Delivery Driver ELAMES TRADING & CONTRACTING COMPANY W.L.L

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Material Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving materials, checking codes, collecting materials from local suppliers, and ensuring smooth deliveries to job sites. This role also includes performing general assembly and repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling:

  • Receive and inspect materials, ensuring accuracy by checking product codes and quality.

  • Collect materials from local suppliers, ensuring timely pick-up and delivery.

• Sample Preparation:

  • Prepare sample boards for client presentations or project specifications.

  • Ensure that all samples are accurate and organized for easy access.

• On-Site Support:

  • Accompany container deliveries to job sites, ensuring all materials are delivered smoothly and on time.

  • Communicate with on-site staff to confirm delivery schedules and resolve any issues.

• General Delivery Tasks:

  • Conduct deliveries of materials to various locations as required.

  • Assist with loading and unloading of materials in a safe and efficient manner.

• Basic Repair and Assembly:

  • Utilize basic repair skills to assemble or fix small items as needed.

  • Report any larger maintenance issues to the appropriate team.

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

    • Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role preferred.

    • Basic knowledge of repair and assembly of small items.

    • Proficiency in both English and Arabic (advanced level).

    Special Skills, if any:

    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
