  • Develop detailed MEP drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems seamlessly.
  • Conduct regular site visits to gather information and validate existing conditions for accurate drafting.
  • Utilize CAD software to create, modify, and optimize designs, prioritizing efficiency and clarity.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and design changes.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
  • Implement quality control measures to review and verify draft accuracy before submission.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and material take-offs for MEP systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest building codes, regulations, and industry trends affecting MEP design.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing insights and solutions to potential design challenges.

الملف الشخصي المطلوب للمرشحين

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent technical diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP drafting within the construction or engineering sectors.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software is essential for success.
  • Certification in MEP design or drafting (e.g., LEED, BIM, or similar) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects is preferred for a competitive edge.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and standards to ensure compliance in MEP design.
  • Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and solve design-related issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
