MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION

- Prepare the manufacturing or repair file (bill of materials and instruction sheets)

- Develop the specifications for production resources (tooling, testing, consumables, etc.)

- Monitor the progress of resource development

- Provide technical support in the workshop

RESPONSIBILITY / AUTHORITY

Preparation of the manufacturing or repair file

- Retrieves data from the definition file

- Creates the manufacturing or repair file (bill of materials, routing, FI, etc.)

- Creates the FDTB (Detailed Work Order) for supplies according to the plans

- Communicates to management control the data enabling the calculation of the product's CCR (Cost Cost Calculation)

- Establishes manufacturing times

- Prepares the manufacturing quote and sends it to their line manager

- Creates the specifications for the manufacturing of the tooling necessary for production

- Monitors the tooling production in collaboration with the purchasing department

- Transmits the technical specifications (product packaging and components, …) to the relevant departments and ensures their consideration.

Production Monitoring

- Analyzes files and changes during order reviews and customer data

- Monitors the progress of files and implements modifications (element, process, supplier, program…) affecting the product during manufacturing

- Proposes and implements process and product improvements for continuous improvement

- Creates and updates the product manufacturing validity list

- Ensures the file is suitable for the needs through a consistency review with the customer

- Ensures the applicability of the FI (Individual Requirements).

Technical Interface

- Participates in the development of specifications for subcontracting the manufacturing of a file element on the technical side.

- Contacts the panel supplier for the manufacturing of the subcontracted component in collaboration with the purchasing department.

- Proposes the most suitable suppliers (if outside the panel) to produce the subcontracted component in collaboration with the purchasing department

- Ensures the technical and file interface during regular product meetings with the workshops (quality, manufacturing problems, product evolution…)

Respects Health, Safety and Environment rules and participates in the implementation of the HSE Management System.

Job Requirements

Bac + 2 or +3 in a technical discipline, ability to transmit knowledge, to formalize and solve problems encountered on the line.
